IBWC Tijuana Levee

SDE performed professional land surveying services for the U.S. International Boundary and Water Commission. San Dieguito Engineering conducted all field surveys with respect to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) for horizontal datum and the North American Datum of 1988 (NAD88) for vertical datum. SDE located all existing survey markers, property corners, and levee offset markers within the project limits, performed a boundary survey, cross section surveys along the existing north and south levee, and including the elevations at the topo of bank, toe of bank, grade breaks, ramps that enter or exit the levee, ditches or canals that are immediately adjacent to the levee.

During the course of the survey, we performed a QLC Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) survey for all existing utilities, as well as elevations for drainage structures within the existing ROW inside the project limits. SDE performed a QLD survey based on records made available to the surveyor. SDE mapped all existing utilities provided on the record plans and QLD. The QLC and QLD utility information was collected and included in the topographic survey deliverable.
