Del Mar Bluffs

The Del Mar Bluffs Stabilization Phase 5 project is part of an ongoing effort to mitigate erosion and bluff failure risks along the LOSSAN rail corridor in Del Mar. Surveying scope included boundary, topographic, and control mapping; calculation of stationing; and identification of underground utilities to support construction planning and execution. Field crews staked I-beam piles, retaining walls, bore pits, underdrains, and storm drains, while ensuring utility protection and safety compliance within the active rail corridor. Real-time adjustments and plan updates were made to accommodate changing site conditions and maintain construction accuracy.
